Dans un communiqué diffusé ce jour, la Philharmonie de Luxembourg annonce la nomination de Martin Rajna au poste de directeur musical de l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Luxembourg, ce à partir du 26 septembre 2025, pour un premier contrat de quatre ans.

Âgé de 29 ans, Martin Rajna est déjà un chef d’orchestre accompli dans son pays natal, la Hongrie. Il est Principal Chef d’Orchestre de l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Győr depuis 2021 et Chef Principal de l’Opéra d’État hongrois à Budapest depuis 2023. Né en 1995 à Dunaújváros (Hongrie), Martin Rajna s’impose rapidement sur la scène musicale internationale. En 2025, le jeune maestro réalise des débuts internationaux marquants, entre autres avec le London Philharmonic Orchestra, l’Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice et ainsi l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Luxembourg.

MARTIN RAJNA / BIO ENGLISH… At just 29 years old, Martin Rajna is already an accomplished conductor and artist in his home country Hungary, having been Principal Conductor of the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra since 2021 and moreover the Chief Conductor of the Hungarian State Opera in Budapest since 2023. Born in 1995 in Dunaújváros, Hungary, Martin Rajna has quickly made his mark on the international music scene. In the present season Rajna is making significant international debuts, including with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of Teatro La Fenice and the Luxembourg Philharmonic.
